Is YTMP3 free to use?
Absolutely. The process of searching, converting, and downloading MP3 files is totally free of charge, no account or subscription is needed. There is no obligation to buy a coffee for us.
Can I search without a YouTube link?
Yes. YTMP3 searches on YouTube itself. Type in the search field keywords and select Search. Select a video and select Convert to prepare your MP3 file. You can also simply paste a YouTube link.
How many results does YTMP3 show for a search?
YTMP3 has a limit of 20 results per search. If the video you want is not appearing, try a more specific keyword search or paste the YouTube link for the video.
Why is a video not appearing in search?
The video might not be one of the first 20 results or it may not be available. Use more specific keywords or paste youtube link directly. Private, removed or restricted videos still may not be convertible.
Which YouTube links I can convert
You can paste in a regular YouTube video link or a shortened youtu.be link, a Short, or a YouTube Music video link. Please use 1 video URL at a time. Some videos may be restricted or unavailable even if you have a valid link.
What does YTMP3 download MP3 or MP4?
YTMP3 only downloads MP3 audio. The saved file has no video, no subtitles, no slides. MP4 downloads are not available at this moment.
Is there a choice of MP3 audio quality?
You can not change the audio quality. The quality of the output depends on the original recording and on the conversion process. You can't make a bad recording sound good or bring back lost audio detail by converting it to MP3.
Can I use YTMP3 on my phone?
Yes. YTMP3 works with any modern browser with JavaScript support. Paste the video link or search for the YouTube video you want to convert using the search bar. Click Convert. If you don’t see the Paste button, tap and hold the input box and then tap Paste to paste the link manually.
Where does my downloaded mp3 go?
Look in the Downloads folder on your device or in the list of downloads in your browser. The location of the downloaded file in your download location is set by your browser settings. Download and wait for it to finish then open the file.
Why is my video not converting?
The video may be private, deleted, restricted or not supported. Conversion may also be interrupted due to a temporary service issue. The video must be playing on YouTube, try again. If the problem persists, please send us the public link of the video and the exact error message.
What if my download link is no longer working?
Go back to the YTMP3 converter and repeat the process for the same video to get a different download link. The links are temporary but the MP3 you download stays on your device.
Can I convert a whole YouTube playlist?
YTMP3 converts only one video at a time. You can download audio from many videos by either selecting each video from the search results or by copying and pasting the link manually. When you are ready to begin the next video, click "Convert another."
Why isn't the MP3 filename the same as the video title?
Any extra spaces and characters that are not allowed in filenames may be removed or replaced. You may rename the downloaded mp3 using the file manager on your device.
